I think what you guys are talking about is a capital plan.
I wonder how the market would react if it was broadcast that OZL may have to go into debt to fund big C. The market may get nervous given the unstable nature of the financial markets.
On the other hand if big C is to be funded out of capital raising then most shareholders would want this to be as little as possible to prevent dilution. Hence a strategy may be to retain the cash so that capital raising is minimised.
Either way a capital strategy is required and it would be nice to have it reported.
I would also be interested in how OZL might use the cash it has in a way that it can be easily retrieved to fund the capital program. If a M&A occurs then Big C wil cause more debt or share dilution. This is a genuine question not a criticism as I am impatient as well.
