I am looking forward to next Friday when we should have had by then an Africa Down Under update from CEO Alwyn Vorster on funding progress and status of plant and infrastructure contracts.
It feels like it’s taken a lifetime to have funding secured. I understand that it’s not easy to secure $40-60m for a project where rare earths prices are at all time low and supply exceeds demand at present.
If there was to be a joint venture partner or a reasonable takeover in play it would have occurred by now. Therefore my conclusion is that short term debt and a future capital raising will be what will be negotiated. Unsure what other options may surface.
The company’s desired position was to issue plant development contracts and commence construction in Sept. Hopefully this objective will be achieved on time.
We need that shareprice to rise and reflect Lindian real value.
