Corruption? I don't know what definition you use, but some practices in Victoria must come pretty close. Quite a whiff of decaying seafood in some parts this past week.
Conflicts? Gang warfare in the north-western suburbs of Melbourne is quite tame compared with civil war, but innocent bystanders do die here.
Political instability? Despite their negatives, some countries seem rather stable compared with a do-nothing federal government paralysed with fear by a two-seat majority (at this stage) and an out-of-control bunch of conservative no-hopers.
Peaceful place? Ever tried living in some suburbs in Melbourne (the world's most livable city)? Home invasions, drive by shootings, car accidents caused by ice addicts, parents beating up umpires at Junior GFs.
Hmmm - perhaps there is something to investing overseas.
