The travel industry is talking about testing and more frequently.  Even before , during and after a long flight - that would
have to be RAT testing.

@Slipping you are right there.  Some I know personally have been extremely hard hit.  It leaves me with almost a sense of
guilt for surviving so well financially.
I haven't missed 18th birthdays like some kids have or 21st. that are often a big deal.

It's left me a little more generous than I normally would be for any help I do get.

I don't do Xmas gifts (obligatory) but am thinking of nice gestures for the new year when we do have more freedoms.

An unbelievable and difficult time for medical staff is an understatement.  Melbourne flying in help.
Too many cheat the system too unfortunately.   Selfish idiots ruin things for the majority.  Best I not get into another
argument on that one.
