Interesting bonus. The European Commission is currently setting carbon dioxide emissions levels for 2008-2012 and is demanding cuts - in the present round most EU countries have given themselves targets above their present consumption levels!

Early days yet since the German are fuming (oops there goes more pollution) and the French aren't happy either.
