Whatever anyone believes , whatever helps them I believe is a good thing as long as it doesn't impinge on the rights of others .
As far as Islam goes , I did spend some time in Qatar which is a very fundamentalist country . Very safe , people very courteous and the attitude in the country was to despise violence . I know not all Muslem communities are like this but does illustrate that the religion itself is not bad - just some of the practices of it in places . I could pick holes in it but basically practriced according to theQ'ran IMO quite a good religion .
So let's be tolerant here of all beliefs , or none , as personal choice .
