Painting the tape at the closing bell has been around a lot longer than bots.
Is it market manipulation? Yes.
Is it illegal? I don't think so.
In the final analysis, it's just one pip.
Let's not get carried away until and unless we get to he situation where there are naked short sellers or something like that.
