    I seem to agree with you. In my past experience as a Shareholder, I haven't felt any benefits from a company having a dual listings.

    IMHO it would be better for MPO to split the company into two, and have them trading as two separate entities, or having the overseas interests as a fully owned independent subsidiary. In the end, IMHO, the end result with all the benefits, if any, would not be different.
