I'm in the USA at the moment, and all I hear about now is the Texit movement. Texas is home to a very big and getting bigger, movement to leave the Union and go it alone.

The states are much more independent than our states in Oz. The Union is fragile imo.

Ditto the EU, it could unravel soon.

Other countries are looking at more nationalism and individualism, down at state level or province level.

Is this the start of a mindset shift and longer term outcome where countries go it alone, and trade blocs etc. unravel and fall over?

Interesting times ahead.
