Both companies are drilling out the same strike.
AVL is more advanced in it's drilling with 179.6Mt @ 0.75%, of which 10.2Mt @ 1.06% is measured, 25.4 @ 0.62% indicated.
TMT is 21.6 Mt @ 0.9% inferred plus 62.8Mt @ 0.8% inferred for about 84.4Mt @ 0.83% inferred.
AVL in it's latest presentation says it will move to construction in 2019.
Surely AVL and TMT need to come together at some point, they are not going to build two mines/plants. Also for a takeover to be on the cards, this needs to happen otherwise there would be no offer for either company, because any acquirer would be held to ransom by the other party.
Has there been any progress towards that happening? What would the value split reasonable be in a merger?
