Thank you for actual facts @jgbit62, your maths is spot on, yes they're pretty much on par which is not a surprise considering the mostly contiguous/homologous nature of the deposit. AVL have reported (pg.21 of BFS) "Preliminary roast-leach work for fresh concentrate demonstrated vanadium extractions up to 86%." I expect this to increase with ongoing fine tuning.
Considering AVL will be processing more of the oxidised ore that is normally rejected in conventional plants, overall numbers are actuality quite good. The premise that the AVL resource will be uneconomic to mine compared to TMT's just highlights the inherent blind naivety shown by some here.
Hmm, still no facts I see, just fantasy, same old rhetoric. Yes we've all read the BFS, it is acceptable. We've also read yours, which was referenced here to correct some wildly inaccurate info another troll was espousing. It did not read well. TMT better hope for some high V prices if/when it goes into production as you'll be digging a lot of waste before you find something economic to process.
Excerpt from pg.4 TMT 2019 DFS...
(The massive transitional ore, which has been used as the basis of design for the processing plant and represents about 50% of plant feed for the first three years, after which it rapidly reduces to less than 5% of feed, has an end-to-end recovery of 55%).

There are just too many holes and unknowns in the TMT story at this stage. Your integration study may shed some light so in all fairness best to wait for that before judgement.
Vanadium has always been expensive&difficult to mine and the Ga-banintha deposit does have unique challenges (of course not on TMT's tenements where it's magically somehow perfect! lol) but I'm confident the experienced AVL team have done the hard work to sure up the process.
You were a holder here way back when so may recall the excruciatingly long road thus far, especially the AMV/APV route switcharoo, which ultimately still produced battery grade V205 which dovetails into the first mover advantage VRFB/electrolyte vertical integration story.
Forgive me if I'm wrong but it now seems to be your mission to slander here in a typical disgruntled ex-holder troll-like fashion. If you bothered to ever provide some technical facts/figures to back up your statements/theories perhaps you'd be afforded a modicum of credibility here. Our resident furry feline Grumpy Cat has more cred!
