Shorting an ETF does not move the price of the underlying...

    Shorting an ETF does not move the price of the underlying commodity unless the ETF needs to sell down its holdings of physical. As the shorts are by definition done on the secondary market it will not have an impact on the price of gold or silver.

    Any other conspiracies you would like me to blow out of the water?
