Serious saliva competition...

Every rusted-on ADOrite will probably hate me for posting this, but, as HC is meant to be an information/opinion exchange forum, here goes: I found this today in a search:

It's dated today so I assume it's "news".
I can't comment on the chemistry of the test because it isn't described here (probably described in a patent). But it has already been given CE Mark approval and is apparently ready for sale. Given the inventors met at Oxford Uni they are unlikely to be dummies.

So, all I can say is that I hope ADO's bloody clinical trial has been done and dusted and the CE approval for saliva is any day now or we'll be late to the party. I know Derek and everyone else from ADO are going as fast as they can, and many parts of the process are out of their hands, but I wish they'd inform us how it's going.
