    Perhaps, but ordinarily if you have been selling over a long time you don't go slapping a big whack on the market above the current melting point for all to see when the share price has been under persistent pressure in a long term downtrend and genuinely expect buyers are going to climb over themselves to buy your shares.

    From experience these sorts of tactics are more commonly seen when someone is trying to provoke sellers into pushing the SP lower so they can buy more at a lower price. Why risk spooking the market if you have a large parcel and you genuinely want out?

    interestingly in this case someone did (a little unexpectedly- for the seller too perhaps) come up and wipe that seller out in one hit. it wasn't a meaningless move.

    ultimately it's the overall market sentiment that will decide proceedings- not one buyer, or seller...Cheers
