They're still heavily invested in the company.
And still doing their utmost to get "the bus" to a desired but as yet unknown destination.
If they succeed, we all win. If they don't, they will be among the biggest losers.
Again, the difference is that we will merely lose money... which can be replaced.
But they will lose all those years of their lives that they strived... for nothing.

If @croser is right it wasn't all three of them who made off with all that shareholders' (???) money.
It was only one of them (the man who started it all and was most heavily invested in the first place).
