    It is reported that October's BRICS summit is planning to demonstrate project mBridge and the settlment currency UNIT proposing to possibly have some aspects of gold pegging / backing to it.

    you can search the website TASS, a bit of an interesting read up.

    a little off topic, but Platinum's move may be anticipating a similar Export ban / restriction as have recently been announced by China (antimony) and being considered by Russia (nickel, uranium), I think Russia produces most of the global supply of PGEs

    all panning out to be very interesting IMO
