Mate of mine involved in Bass straight drilling is seriously impressd with the pressure of mud required to control this little baby.
As an example typical Bass straight dril would use a mud weight of 10 to 11 pound per gallon mud weight, as against the 13 pound per gallon being used to control Siphon. According to oiler mate ths equates to 8,350 PSI, 57,500 KPA pressure, To quote him he said it looks like they have hit pay dirt.
