It stirs me sometimes how gold company's can spin what their costs are but then not put in all the numbers. This is part of a reason why i am a shareholder of both IGR and RMS. Unlike the other companies, they just say it like it is without spinning the numbers. CEO Chris Cairns from IGR in particular said at an AGM that it annoys him how companies dont just use the total cost including capital costs but instead spin it here and there.

I checked out some recent announcements on AVO and in the annual report in the first 20 pages it states the $452/oz figure about 10-15times (i may exaggerate) but not once on those pages does it say what the royalties or capital costs are - however it does state that its not including royalties. I gave up after 15-20pages coz im not going through a 100 page report that should have the TOTAL costs per ounce on page one in big black writing.

Well done to RMS for stating it like it is.
