The proposed tax on carbon on those industries contributing to the production of carbon dioxide is a complete and utter sham!! What are we going to have next, an “oxygen consumption tax”? Don't let on to the Govt about this tax. After all in order to produce carbon dioxide, you have to consume oxygen in equal concentrations! Therefore, QED,shouldn't there therefore be an oxygen consumption tax! Aster all the best way of stopping the production of CO2 is to get rid of O2, altogether, isn’t it! Then we wouldn’t have any life of substance!
What is the World coming too? I can’t believe that we (excluding myself and hopefully many others, who are begining to see the light) are that stupid! (dumb)!
How, else do we get our oxygen? Out of a bottle!!! We get it from CO2 – plants using CO2 and now we have a Govt that wants to lock it away forever and/or prevent the natural recycling of carbon. This is a wicket act of irresponsibility.
We have a crazy Govt, one that is hell bent on taxing the living daylights out of the most vital component of our atmosphere, carbon dioxide. Hey, don’t they know the long-term consequenses that this could lead to! We need food and more of it to feed our ever-growing World population. Therefore, in order for more mouths to be fed, more CO2 will be required. Particularly, if the climate change that may be occurring is that of cooling!
