The XJO closed lower on Tuesday, where spread narrowed a little, but volume increased to above average.
In sympathy with overseas markets the XJO continued lower, however an element of (speculative ??) support has appeared within the price action, with spread narrowing but volume being well above the recent average.  Generally spread (or range) could be used as a proxy for volume if required, so when there is an anomaly of some sort appears, it is usually worth noting.
The Index is currently at an important juncture, where a price breakdown could occur if the recent support @5604 is broken and cannot be successfully recovered.
