It is sometimes stated that the 'mean' means average. This is incorrect if "mean" is taken in the specific sense of "arithmetic mean" as there are different types of averages: the mean, median, and mode."
Regardless lets say that the "mode" is probably a better descriptor of what I was thinking.
But I certainly wouldn't be saying: "that the new graduate and the photocopier girl and the pizza boy are only being paid $150k." That is your guestimate. lol
