An opportunity exists for a Junior Mechanical / Chemical / Mechatronics Engineer or similar to join this unique organisation; at the forefront of cutting edge technologies that provide reliable, energy efficient, high quality and low emission electricity.
Working from their head office in Melbourne’s south east, you will join a publicly listed, recognised world leader who is committed to developing and commercialising this patented breakthrough technology. This is an exciting period of change for the company as they now begin to manufacture their technology in Germany after many years of high-end scientific research. With collaboration with their strategic European partners, they will continue to refine their products, and further define how this technology will be used in the future.
This exceptional opportunity will allow you to problem solve on a daily basis and as well as gain the “hands on” time with the technology in the field. You will be able to expand rapidly your technical acumen by being exposed to technology that encompasses cutting edge engineering across mechanical, chemical, electrical and electronic disciplines. Working closely with the design engineers you will be interpreting data to play a critical part in suggesting improvements to the technology moving forward.
This is an extremely challenging role that will include the co-ordination of technical information with engineers and business partners locally and across Europe, Japan and the United States. Due to the location of customers across these locations and the increase in demand, several local and international travel opportunities present themselves each year. This opportunity is suited to a technically astute professional with a desire to develop their career, experience and knowledge in cutting edge technology. Solid technical skills are a must as well as attention to detail and excellent communication and organisational skills. You will be responsible for Installation and Commissioning; Service, Maintenance and Emergency Support; as well as Training and Reporting. A confident, well spoken engineer who ideally possesses a minimum of 2 two years experience and who is able to effectively co-ordinate information and multitask, with the ability to foster excellent customer relationships would be the most suitable candidate. Somebody who is also very comfortable with electronics, electronic control and programming would be very suitable for the position.
