persistentone - pretty sure you can subscribe to an alert service from most online brokers that will notify you to your mobile by sms or by email when a price sensitive announcement is made by any of your selected basket of stocks - not sure if they actually send you the substantive announcement in the email method - but its a small task to go and download the announcement (once you know about it) - the subscription service costs but from memory its not prohibitive - would imagine if you only have 5 to 10 stocks on your watchlist the cost would be kept well below $100 per year.
