I'm not sure how you guys wrap your heads around that.
The mining division processed 270mt.
They produced around 500kt of Sc6 eq.
Assuming 5% average final grade over all operations, 1% average feed and 60% recoveries, that's only 4-5mt of spodumene ore processed maximum.
They shipped about 18mt of iron ore.
Even assuming bad recoveries, they should have processed less than 30mtpa from their own IO operations.
That's less than 50mt processed inhouse compared to 270mt actually processed by the mining division.
Of course there's also rehab, marin, haulage, etc in the mining division but it's quite obvious most of their contracts are from external operations.
Either I'm missing something or they are just really efficient at crushing, screening and processing ore.
There's over 200mtpa from the big boys being processed by MIN operators.
