Main Points
Gocerler-6 currently drilling ahead at a depth of 780 metres. Should reach TD this weekend.
Operations Summary
Gocerler-6 spudded 19 March at 06:00am local time. Intermediate casing was set and
cemented at a depth of 606 metres.
Background
Gocerler-6 is a development well on the Gocerler field designed to produce gas from the 1232
sand which is approximately 35 metres above the main producing unit in the field. The Gocerler
field has stacked reservoirs and this well is targeting the best developed part of the 1232 sand
unit.
Well Location
The Gocerler-6 well is being drilled at location: Latitude: 41° 21’ 03’’N, Longitude: 27° 45’
50”E, Easting: 563 916, Northing: 4 578 079, 216 m from Gocerler-1 on a bearing of 266 °
04’ 26” and 423 m south of Gocerler-2.
Objective and Drilling Programme
Gocerler 6 is expected to be drilled and completed within 13-16 days based on previous
Gocerler Wells. 9 5/8" surface casing was set at 606m in the first good Danismen Shale. The
well is currently being drilled in 8 1/2" hole to TD.
The 1232 sand which is the sole target in the well will be at a depth of approximately 1230m
kb with base at 1244m kb (measured from Kelly bushing on the rig floor). Final depth will be
1256m kb. 7'' casing will be run to TD.
