The cost of mining - production is meaningless at the moment other than it seems to be profitable even though they are mining to explore the ore body and the plant has only had the gravity circuit producing.

The trial mining so far has been opening exploration drives every 10m depth to deliniate the high grade ore body. Its a great way to explore an ore body like this. In the process they are putting all the infrastructure together inside the mine to mine the ore body properly. What this means is that they have about 75% of the high grade resources intact ready to mine much more efficiently than what they have done so far when they are ready.

Secondly the leach circuit on the production side will make a huge difference, but its not tested yet so there are just too many unknown variables. If the leach circuit is close to 80% efficient, the cost of production I'm almost certain will be one the lowest on the ASX for a gold producer.
