IBG is just following its usual pattern so its a good buy at these levels. Most previous spikes in the share price were due to either resource upgrades or Nyrstar buy-ins.
Management have always had investors best interests at heart everytime I've had correspondance with them and will happily answer any questions. I'm not sure the motivation of comments to the opposite but the stock does require patience.
