Concur with your thoughts on China. Even a few weeks travelling widely there is worth more to todays investor than all the market theory ever taught to 19 year olds.
I spent a one there 2 years ago, and it has given my a totally new perspective into which to fit market events. I can't predict future prices, but I can with confidence predict that demand for iron, nickel, zinc and copper will remain very strong, for a very long time. Someday maybe coffee also! I don't get rattled buy falls on the Shanghai stock exchange, or talk about the Chinese stopping buying things either. Look at what they are leaving behind, and you can understand their drive for success.
