Agreed news must be comming!!!!!.
One thought I have on the price of NRT is the snowball effect.
If the price moves up in Aust. The US see that and they move it up some more. We see the US and so we move it up some more again. There could be a bit of that happening at the moment. But in saying that, the same is true when we had those down trending days as well.
In situations like this there is the possiblity of distorted prices due to 2 separate mkts.
