I received an email last week from S&G, as no doubt did many others, and it included a specific pre-calculated amount for my holdings, although it was qualified as the final payout is likely to vary.

Then on Friday, I received the calculator and entered the details of my holdings, and it gave a lesser figure. Problem with the calculator is that it does not ask whether you are referring to OXL or OZL shares which are both eligible. It just asks how many shares you bought or sold, with dates, but one OXL share was worth more than 3 times as much as one OZL share, so I wasn't sure how to handle the OXR shares. (Presumably enter the equivalent number of OZL shares after the conversion?)

Have emailed S&G, but no reply yet.

Finally, the payout is quite worthwhile - glad I joined the action. Not doing so is analagous to not claiming a tax deduction to which you were entitled.
