Surely if there was another serious offer they would have to announce that to the market. They have set a precedent by releasing the previous offer and another improved offer would be an 'extremely' price sensitive announcement. My spin FWIW is that even if a basket of cash is offered, there's not a 'snow flake's chance in hell' of the majority of that money reaching SH's pockets. I'd predict a 'special dividend' of a few cents per share, then the bulk of the cash will be returned to company coffers to fund other (Chile) projects and wages for as long as possible for all of the 'good guys' who have continuously acted in our collective best interests (tongue in cheek....) At least I won't have to wait too long to find out if I'm a 'killjoy' or simply a realist !
