I don't believe that's what the trial is about. It can't be changed from seeking court orders that the cancellation of a marketing agreement is valid (plus potential damages) into one about conspiracy to defraud mid-way through. My understanding is that IG's statements are relevant only in as far as how his belief about the aims of Q affected his decisions about selling FM, cancelling the marketing agreement etc.
