I don't think they will settle any cases this financial year, contrary to their guidance. When they came up with their guidance, they probably thought that at least one out of the portfolio purchased in June 2016 or another one out of their US case and WP class action would settle. However, most of the cases have been delayed for one reason or another, if you follow the dates on their one page summarising their cases. I'd like them to settle one positively and soon. But the delays across so many cases means that my base case is they'll disappoint on this front.

As a long term holder, the details will sort themselves out in due course, if they've selected cases conservatively. At the same time, I can understand why people would want to steer clear until they've got runs on the board. To each their own.
