Under what circumstances must a company request a trading hault?...

Under what circumstances must a company request a trading hault? My understand was that it is just good practice to do it but not required. I agree that a trading suspension is likely and could come at any time ... even is a suspension occurs, the tranche could still come later and trading could resume. It isn't necessarily the end even if these events occur.
