Oneclip. A company must request a trading halt if a serious problem with liquidity occurs and there is doubt over the company's ability to resolve it. This is a common reason that a trading halt is requested. My belief is that there is a two day overseas bank transfer time for large sums of money and if the money isn't on its way Wednesday night for Friday receipt by MST than MST must call a trading halt Thursday. This sequence so often occur when companies go under. YOU CANNOT SELL YOUR SHARES ONCE IT IS IN TRADING HALT AND THEN SUSPENSION.
