Much is said about the tribulation, and as I know very little about it so I decided that I should try to find out what it is about.
Dictionary Definition a cause of great trouble or suffering. a state of great trouble or suffering. distress or suffering resulting from oppression or persecution.
Bible Definition I could not find actual definitions but there are plenty of examples of trouble, suffering and of oppression and persecution such as the first born in Egypt, Job, and the first Christians covered in Revelation. There is also tribulation foreseen in the Bible by those who follow Christ.
Tribulation in our current time. There is trouble, suffering and persuasion going on right now resulting from targeting based on religious and political differences - the wars in the Israeli area and Ukraine and the targeting of people because their view of God is different (or do not believe in a God) are examples.
What do I make of it? Not a lot really other than trouble, suffering, oppression and persecution seems to have been with us since humans walked the planet and this is unlikely to change in the foreseeable future. --- I said that I know little about the subject - other perspectives would be appreciated.
