Speaking for myself I don't have a book about my religion because I don't have a religion.
It doesn't mean that I don't read books. I read a variety of books on different different topics. For example, I'm currently reading a book on New Zealand history from a Maori perspective.
I have several books to help me identify plants, animals and birds which I reference on an ongoing basis.
I have lined up a Netflix documentary on Moses and "Oppenheimer" which covers the Manhattan Project that developed the first nuclear bombs so I have a wide range of interests.
The Maori channel has some very good nature programmes.
A few years back we visited friends in Perth where we bought a book on Australian birds which we left with the friends who had little interest in birds. Next, we heard they were using the book on their numerous trips around Australia. Does that count as evangelism because they were introduced to the wonders of creation?
