Seventh Generation

I was in the US recently and noticed in the Sunday edition (it was impossible not to) a full page advertisement in the New York Times.

It was an advertisement from a US company called Seventh Generation which is on a crusade against the toxins we are exposing our children to (born and unborn). The mission statement of the company or at least the one that was cited in the advertisement was: 'Join us in our mission to nurture the health of the next seven generations.'

The main points in the advertisement were as follows:

'According to experts at the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) 300 toxic chemicals are showing up in the umbilical cords of babies. These toxic chemicals damage central nervous systems, affect developing brains, lower IQs, cause cancer, lead to birth defects and increase the rates and severity of asthma.'

'It's time for lawmakers to wake up and do something about all the bad chemicals out there because they end up in our homes and in our bodies. We are fighting for stronger regulations in everyday consumer products and we are winning! We've changed laws in California, Maine, Washington and Vermont. We just gave it our best shot in New York and are now headed to DC to bring Congress to its knees.'

'We'll do whatever it takes to get the federal government to pass meaningful chemical reform for you.'

Alexium is as well placed as any company out there to address these problems and provide a safer, healthier, cleaner and better way forward than the current companies and products that use toxic chemicals that see everyone who comes into contact with them suffering from any number of severe and life-threatening health problems.

I was going to post this on a quiet day, but there is no such thing when it comes to Alexium given how much they've got going on at any one time.

AJX is already a very good company, but in time it will grow into a truly great company given the technology it has, the management it possesses and the positive difference it will make to so many people's lives, not to mention the lives of our grandchildren and their children.
