As eluded too in an earlier post, dramatic restrictions to the live cattle export trade to Indonesia will be introduced. Additionally, there will be significant upgrades to Indonesian abattoirs and permanent monitoring by animal welfare officers all to be funded by the industry.
importantly, these measures have the support of both the Indonesian and Australian govt's.
