A friend in Toowoomba sent this link. Article includes pic of one of several places where rail from Toowoomba-Brisbane has been damaged. It will take weeks before repairs are complete. He also says NHC are trucking some coal down the range to Ipswich/Brsbane. Its very slow as only one lane in highway has be re-opened and severe speed limits imposed. A grain trader in Toowoomba said transport shortage meant cost of trucking grain from eastern Darling Downs has blownout from $25-$40/ton!
