Agree with all that Sevo, my only caveat being that you still need an appropriately experienced person / team within the company itself to manage the EPC contractor, in my opinion (having been on the edges of large infrastructure projects with EPCs in the past myself).
I've no reason to doubt that the current team have enough engineering experience to manage such a relationship though, and they're no doubt sensible enough to bring someone else in if they felt there was a knowledge / experience gap.
