Better chance of getting a YES vote if the market has reacted favourably (SP wise) to the intended merger.
"Perceptions" play such a big part in these matters, and let's face it, this is all about benefitting KS and as has been said a few times..."never get between Stokes and a ten dollar note, you'll get steamrolled".
In this deal he has already taken his lolly by virtue of the profit multiple on the caterpillar business.
As a stand alone business, who in their right mind would pay this outrageous price!
I hold SEVPC only and feel comfortable with a preference over Stokes' shares.
