Pic, your tram story is I suppose an example of a person taking things to an extreme. In fact it wouldn't surprise if there was mental health at play there. I doubt there will ever be a time when standing up for a woman on a tram etc won't be met with appreciation in 99% of cases. The unfortunate situation seems to be occurring that certain types of males who are struggling to identify the boundaries between chivalry/manners v unwanted attention seem to be taking a vindictive stance toward the issue and conclude it's all the fault of women. I suppose it could be a reactionary stance when either the issue causes reflections, or there's just a lack of basic understanding of whats happening?
