Nothing wrong with taking a profit in this market, I exited some of my trading parcel today as well. Senex has a habit of drifting back after big days like today.. but happy to be proven wrong as I have a long term holding which I am not selling any time soon. Made the mistake of exiting WPL last week on one of those post big down days on the DOW. Sometimes think the long term buy and hold is a simpler strategy than trying to time the market week in week out. But we live in volatile times it seems and scalping profits here and there while minimising the losses can help shield some of the longer term positions.
