RE: TransLink® Status Update
The TransLink® program has made significant progress in the past year and is close to achieving a noteworthy milestone: staff expects to grant revenue ready certification to Motorola/ERG for AC Transit and Golden Gate in the next two months. This certification will mark the beginning of Phase II operations, or full deployment, for the TransLink® transit electronic fare payment program. This memorandum provides an update on the work that has been accomplished in the past year, discusses our plans for revenue ready certification, and describes what to expect in the launch of the Phase II program.
