Much appreciated post Snowfall, and indeed outside of my SMSF holding which obviously can't take advantage of the 12 month capital gains benefit my personal holding is wayy beyond the 12 month ruling. Thus I too am holding out for that 3-4++ cent increase.
However I don't like the attitude of any CEO who makes the statement they'r not concerned about market sentiment. I'm of the view that market sentiment is reflective of management's business acumen, so its a very naive manager who doesn't understand that running a listed company also includes being aware of how to manage the company in the eyes of the market. Of course this becomes particularly important when a company needs to continually raise funds from the market, hopefully SFI has sufficient funds already to not require any future fund-raising! Theoretically SFI should be already cash flow positive with fund inflows from both its Eagleview arrangement plus its Australian operations.
