Sandfire has announced that it has found thick intervals of shallow, chalcocite-rich copper mineralisation above the primary DeGrussa resource with the potential for a significant zone of high grade, near surface material.

Initial drilling results from Sandfire appear positive, Talisman and Alchemy resources are also currently drilling their VTEM targets. Any success from them should increase the chances of other nearby companies finding something in their drilling program.
