My wife recently received a letter that the local branch was closing down.
The option given was open an internet acct. We don’t have faith in the security aspect off the digital world The analog world was safer!
Go to the local post office to do her banking. My wife rang a number to see if there where other alternatives to possibly retain her as a customers.
The wife mentioned to the person, "have you recently been to the post office and lined up for service "?
There was no response to that question except a suggestion that she should travel 30K to the closest branch.
When her reasonable large term deposits due date arrives, it will be heading to either another smaller banks or Credit Union.
There will still be WBC bank in town.
Why not have a counter within the bank to handle SGB customers instead off losing them?
