    I spoke to a broker today who indicated Slater & Gordon likely to survive, but will cop a beating from lenders. May have to sell all or part of UK business. Suggested SGH valuation, and SP, likely to drop following announcement of deal.

    The shorters could be right. More pain for SGH.
