Well not great news , but hell we are not totally dead in the water either. I am a little annoyed that i have a summary without many numbers from an organisation too scared to not overstep by showing any sign of enthusiasm.
My take from my first read is Australia dissapointing but cut out costs so not too bad considering, UK turnaround happening at excruciatingly slow pace, still spending money on restructuring so still slightly cash flow negative with expectation this will continue for a while.
Where does this stand with respect to my expectations, well not at the top but not at the bottom of my range either. I am killing to know what the normalised figures are, because one offs have to end shortly in UK , but looks like they now have to give Oz a rework. Surely we have some underlying normalised profit and that is where those half glass full types will get a second wind or be totally deflated.
Also killing to know true nihl situation. And banks thinking.
So all i can say is- we wait.
